After Aneto, I was hungry for more Pyrenean adventures. So I went back to the same massif, this time to climb Pico de Mullere (3,010 m).
It became my second 3000+ summit, and honestly… what a beautiful day: wild landscapes, incredible views, and lots of animal encounters.

The Start

Fresh legs, big smiles, and the whole mountain ahead of us. The morning was cool, the sky clear, and spirits high. At the beginning of a climb, everything feels easy — little did we know what was waiting for us higher up!

Trail Mont Ventoux

Trail du Mont Ventoux with My Dad and Friend 🏔️

Mont Ventoux, also known as the Giant of Provence, is legendary for cyclists… but we decided to tackle it as a trail run. With my dad and my friend, we spent the day climbing, running, walking (okay, suffering), and enjoying an adventure we’ll never forget.

Before the Race

The adventure started with the classic trail-run ritual: checking the route on a map, pretending we knew exactly where we were going. My dad and I squinted at the paper like explorers from another century, while my friend was already laughing at us.

Aneto

Climbing Aneto with Friends

At 3,404 meters, Aneto is the highest peak of the Pyrenees and a dream for many hikers and mountaineers. Together with my friends, we decided to take on this challenge: a 28 km hike with 1,505 m of elevation gain, spread over an exhausting but rewarding 15 hours of walking.

The Start

We began our adventure early in the morning, under clear skies and crisp mountain air. The first few kilometers were gentle, allowing us to warm up while enjoying the scenery of the Maladeta massif.
